I live here in KY and it is usually dry when I ride and so I wanted to gain some HP so I thought that I could probably get a airfilter but I am still not for certian whether to get an airfilter or not!

Get a sparks or uni air filter because if it is dry you do not want dust particles getting in the motor and they will with a K&N. Also drill a couple of 1" holes in the top the air box lid and go to ur local dealer and he can give you foam plugs, this will increase airflow.
Hope this helps ya.

I put on an E-series pipe...a little more pep.
Then added 40 & 155 jets with K&N filter and Outerwear...BIG Difference, much snappier(is that a word?). I think I'll add a 14t sprocket and I'm done tweaking.

Oh yeah, I did the hole in the airbox lid also!

Sparks, Uni or Twin Air are all good Filters. I had a K and N and i could not trust it. I had a feeling it was gonna be the death of my engine. Too much dust was able to get through.
