The 2008 Michigan ATV State Championship MX Series ran its first race at Log Road MX on Sunday April 27th.

I raced log road love that track but didnt have time to make it to freelin last weekend. I heard they didnt get practise going until 3pm sunday...I ll be at red bud next weekend its only about a 3hr drive for me.All the tracks are on average 2.5hrs away(one way) kindda hurts the pocket book with high gas price's

i was thinking of entering my first race next weekend at redbud. i am not registered with ama or the district. i heard you can register for both at the track, and race the same day. i would like to know if this is true. and i know you need nerfs, tether, boots, pants, long shirt, and a helmet. i looked on atva web site. any info i can get would be appreciated. tanks Dan

Yup you can get your ama D-14 at the track its a expensive day though you ll have your entry fee,Ama sign up,D-14 sign up and your class fee.(around $100) You would also need a number on your quad

No I don't race any more, 60 years old and 270lbs. My sons are Dillon 13, he races in the Schoolboy Jr. and Cody 15 who races in the Schoolboy Sr.
djeurink what class will you be racing in?
We can't make it to Red Bud, family plans

Ive raced the d14 series for 3 years and had a ton of fun! Im out this year from an injury last year but still go and watch the closer races...

Didnt make it to red bud the weather looked iffy and i get up this morning and its sunny oh well i saved prolly $150 in gas and a 6hr round trip

I wont be at battle creek this weekend i crashed at dutch last weekend i have a bruised kidney so i'm out for awhile.Weekend of baja is nascar here in MI i going down there all weekend.Good luck this weekend guys and keep it on all 4

ya me too! just sunday have to work sat but going to dutch both days the weekend after baja. That sunday i guys had to miss there were alot of quads in the JR class and 1 in the SR class.
