Does anyone know or have an idea on how far or how long you can go on a tank of gas? Figure a speed between 30 and 45 mph average in mix of ruff and flat terrain.

I haven't gotten to test a huge amount so far, but I can tell you that I got 28 MPG on gravel roads going about 50-55. I was impressed. I'm not sure but I think I got 18ish on some pretty rough trails the other day.

I have ran mine about 70 miles 100% hard rideing wide open about 2/3 of it and the other 1/3 was mashed in whoops and trails. I never hit reserve.

Gas mileage questions on an sport quad, are you guys serious? I thought the thread was a joke until I looked at it!

I know on a recent trip to the dunes I was getting about the same mileage as a raptor 700.

This isn't really about fuel economy, it's more about knowing how far and long I can go with out fueling up. This bike is on my short list of ATV to consider buying because I looks like the best trail bike available. Thats how I intend to ride it; long, fast, hard trail rides and I gotta know when to turn around and get back.

www.imsperformance.com - they have a 4.9 gallon tank available for the 525. You probably wouldn't have to worry about fuel much with that on there.
