Hi guys, i just bought a brand new 07 YFZ450 this february. It was $5775 OTD. Thats all i paid in cash, not a cent more. The bad part was that i didnt get anything bundled in the deal. I bought it at San Diego. I went from a blaster, to a 400ex, to my new YFZ450 and let me tell you every time I chaged quads I was BLOWN AWAY!! I am IN LOVE w/ my YFZ right now. The blaster is a POS but somehow i'm still attached to it (i got it when i was 13). The 400ex was a big difference in power/acceleration/economy/EVERYTHING but its my friends bike so i couldnt use it 24/7. He was very cool about it, but i needed to get a new bike. So i got my YFZ450 and I AM NOT regretting it. I did 3 trips to glamis already with it (i'm a local) and several trips to my local "Heber Dunes/Heber Beach" (i'm sure you havent heard about it). Anyways, lets get on to what i need from you guys

I want to see if i really got a good deal or not, so go ahead an post:
-How much you paid for your quad
-What year it is, and when you purchased it
-Used or brand new?
-Anything that was bundled in it
-Did it include some type of insurance?
-And monthly payments/interest

Pretty much just name everything that came included in the purchase of your YFZ450. This can help people that are looking into buying a new one too.

i bought my 06 ltr450 in june of 06 for 7100 otd with a five year warranty i feel i got a good deal seeing most dealerships i hear werent letting them go for under 8500 otd. but my buddy just got ripped the beggining of this month on a 2008 z400 hey paid 7200 otd with a 2 year warranty thats it

... well i wont even comment because you guys get quads so much cheaper down in the states.... my dad just went down there and bought 7 of them... saved a total of $12000 yes twelve thousand!

i got mine the thursday before the 07's hit the showroom. they only had 2 left and wanted rid of them. thats why i got the deal i did. originally i would have paid $7200 otd

04 yfz, bought 2 months ago paid 3846. Cam mod, Nerfs, +2 Houser stering Stem, Tag T2 Handle Bars, Kill Switch,AC bumper, bill balance HMF Full, few little trick things here and there, came with paddles and holeshots.

07 used...Paid $4,000 even "outside of ebay". Paid $120 to freight it here... Paid $60 for a new stem and $50 for a new rim (seller didnt tell me it was wrecked)...

It came with Pro-armor rear bumper, a-arm skid pans, and nerf bars....the rest is stock. Came w/ a nice pair of Fox boots too...

Just over $4200 for an '07...cant complain... Coming from a 400ex I couldn't be happier - huge difference IMO.

got my '04 for $1200 plus my 300ex which i had bought a few months ago for $1200.

had some money in the 300ex, works shocks and razr's all around, but i think i came out good. i actually know i did. the yfz came with axis dual rates in front, c&d rear shock, razr 2's on back 1's in front, fat bars, 13:1 piston, prm bumper, ac racing grab bar and nerfs. big gas tank and yellow maier plastics.

my dads 05, picked it up for 2995 only thing wrong with it was lights dont work. has pro taper bars, powermadds and dg nerf bars (piece of $h!T) lol

Paid $6200 otd for my brand new Bill Ballance Edition in Jan., and the salesman threw in a pair of Fox boots for my wife. I also got 20% off anything in the store for 6 months (I used that ALOT ! ).
Also conned them into adding an additional 6 months to the warranty (in store deal) so it would cover the entire riding season.

i just gave 5200 for a new stock 08 450.. payments are 170 a month ,w/ 0 down, and my interest rate was horrible like 13.5 so someone with better credit coulda done alot better!! The 170 a month includes the best warrenty they got (i think 3 years) , gap insurance, disability, etc etc etc. not to bad of a deal the lowest payments with nothing extra was around 150 for 5 years.

Thats better that my intrested rate... Mines 18.99 .... I really got screwed there......

Im suprised to see how cheep you people are getting these quads... I thought I got a deal... Mine was $6,500 for the 08... The guy at the dealer toke 500 bucks off because he grew up with my father. I got the ****ty 3month warrenty. But i figured, unless it blows up, im good. Its would cost me 50 dollars in gas just to get to the neareast Yamaha dealer....... When I can ride my quad to the local motorcycle shop.

I love the color scheme of the 08's..... To bad there aint much black left on the edge of my rear rims
