I thought the website was profabatv.com but it doesnt load for me.

I am wanting to know information about the 385 kit utilizing the pressed in 400 sleeve. I need to know if it is possible to use the stock 400 piston. getting a decent used 400 cylinder/piston and just getting the sleeve pressed out and then into my cylinder and install the stock piston sounds very inexpensive and sounds like a pretty good increase in power on a low budget for the extra quad(even though it isnt the extra quad yet)

even the the cr wouldnt be bumped up really, it is almost a 100cc increase. you would have to feel that.

last i knew scott is not currently running pro fab atv anymore. I did hear he worked somewhere else but forget the name. I talked to him years ago, lets just make known i am not one of his favorite customers. Took over 4 months to get my things from him that was supposed to take 2 weeks.

anyone else do this build?

four stroke tech i think, I know i had him do a few things for me in the past and was excellent, helped me out several times along with making me some custom parts for the motor. Talk to mickey and he wont steer you wrong im sure he will help with whatever he can.

mickey dunlap right? supposedly my girlfriends stepmom is friends with that guy from way back and her dad has talked to him before and was going to have him build their 460, never did though so not sure if its a bs story or what...

is there a FST website?

I think I saw on here that you can not use the 400EX piston because of different size wristpin(pin that connect rod to piston).

ah crap.

so then I gotta have a custom piston made. if shelf pistons are 150 or so I wonder how much a custom one is.

i think mickey made me one for $200 if i remember right

how come the website calls the kit a big bore stroker, last guy i talked to with a 385 kit said it was still stock stroke, sounds like a HUGE increase for just a big bore, but its what he said. well, so maybe 250-300 in parts plus labor for the sleeve install....

the 300 uses stock stroke, 250x gets stroked to get the cc's. uses either an 86 or 87 mm piston, but FST uses a 19mm wrist pin, also have to use his rod(vesrah) which is 1mm shorter.
