Just curious what everybody uses for chain slides
I'm thinking of going with UPP - anybody here every use them - comments
How about the ones on ebay vs TM designworks vs OEM?

I've got a TM Designworks. I like it. It's wearing like iron.

I have no clue what kind of chain slide I have on my swingarm, but its not wearing quick at all, it still has plenty of life left in it

UPP work great and are extremely durable.

my TM design works always wear through in the middle. done it three times now, 2 on one R and once on the other, so guess Im going back to OEM

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but where do you find the UPP ones? I want the full set with the guide and roller but I can only find it on eBay in yellow only.

The ones in yellow are a good deal, but who wants yellow?

I have this new TM. It was red when I got it, but I dyed it black by boiling it in RIT DYE for about 2 hours.
Never used it so, don't know. Let me know if you are interested.

Does that seriously work? I've got a set of white TM Designworks that I wish were black. I bet they'd take color even better than the red. How'd you do it exactly??

I think white would take 10x's better. Go to WalMart and look for RIT DYE, they sell it in the chemical section by the cleaners. It has like a purple label.
I got two boxes, dry powder, mix with like 3 quarts water and boil it and make sure you mix it. It will take a while, it turns slowly so don't freak out. I did mine for like 2 hours, you have to add water since it keeps boiling and water is evaporating.
Also, use a old crappy sauce pan and crappy utensil, cause it will stain. BE CAREFUL, it stains instantly.
250Renvy - sorry to jack you thread. All other questions...pm me.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to Order the UPP complete set.
The TM is obviously good but UPP sells a complete set for less than TM.
BTW Dan the A-arms look good - going to keep them?

they are very nice and high quality. I am undecided. I would only get rid of them for what I have in them. I have some Laeger LT plus 2's that would be nice, but no shocks.
Thanks for letting me know about HRE. Mike is a good guy.

Danhung11 i believe we may have delt with each other on ebay. I think i purchased a 310 cylinder from you? If so, the cylinder is running great and pulls much harder than my stock cylinder!
