does anyone know where I could get a set for a 300ex???

Zing will sell you the graphics & seat kits direct to you. More info is on www.zingracing.com
However, Zing does not make 300EX kits, so you have to modify a 400EX kit to fit. I have done this several times with no problems. It take a little longer, but I know that my 300EX does no look like anyone elses.

The above 300EX has 2001 Zing 400EX graphics. This 300EX has 2000 Zing 400EX graphics.

how do you do the seat cover? isn't the 400 and 300 seat differnt sizes. I know my 400 had a longer seat than my 300

To install a 400EX seat cover on a 300EX effectively you need to do the whole process backwards. Start from the back of the seat and move your way towards the front. You will end up cutting some material off of the front portion of the seat cover to make it fit. I would not reccomend installing a 400EX seat cover on a 300EX unless you have a ton of experience or at least patience.
I would also suggest leaving your stock seat cover on if it is in good condition as added protection incase you rip your cover in a crash. It would also help incase you bail on installing the 400EX cover when you find out it is not a 10 minute process so that you have something to go back to.
It usually takes me about 30 minutes with a helper, were a 400EX cover onto a 400EX seat is about 8 - 10 minutes.
Good Luck.
