2006 90 cc a/c, stock Mikuni carb.
I replaced stock filter with a uni pod filter. Quad runs terrible now.
Falls on its face, wont power up.who knows what the proper jetting needs to be now and who sells them?
Ran perfect BEFORE.

A stk DRX 50 with that carb in FL will run a 105 MJ

Have you tried a 110 or 115 MJ?

You may also need to adjust the needle clip setting and the air screw as well

whats in it for a maine jet now?

Usually since you are giving it more air you will need to go up in main jet size to give it more fuel

I have raised the needle all the way and it helped slightly.
It has the stock jets.
I will pull it off and find a couple larger main jets. Do I need to go up on pilot jet also?
Will any bike shop have Mikunu jets?
thanks cb

Pilot will be fine.
we have to run a 125-130 main jet in ours here in OHIO!
Most good shops will have them. NOt all!

Pulled carb and it has a 100 main jet and a 25 pilot.
I will try to find a few larger jets and report back.

I am using a uni-filter with a 20 pilot and 100 main in a 16mm Mikuni on a 2007 DRR 50 in Ohio. Thanks to Marc at Hot Quads for assisting.

That is a lean main jet

In fl we run a 105 and your area usually requires a fatter main jet

I also raised the needle to the highest notch. It really does run good. It came stock with a 25 pilot and 105 main, 4th notch needle setting. Much smoother powerband than it used to have.

I have thought about trying the 105 jet again, but it seems to run good as is. I may tinker when I get bored.

on the 90cc a 110, should work well , as
bulldog as mentioned. depends on what fuel, and air temp, also.
pilot is big enough, maybe too big, try a 22.5
