I just installed a Stage 1 hotcam this morning, will running synthetic oil do any harm?

Also does the engine sound a little louder than before? like a small ticking noise. I dont know if its the ordinary ticking thats always been there since the day i bought it or what, I think i'm just a little perinoid and over thinking it.

the noise is normal. as for the oil...... i'm not sure, but as long as you have always run it, i don't see why you can't anymore.

The ticking is normal and as far as synthetic oil id wait until the cam breaks in, run a couple of tanks of gas through your quad before you run synthetic oil.
