does it hold a lot of pressure because mine when I loosen the cap off it almost blew it off. The gas was like bubble out of the tank and the breather tube. Is this normal.

Put some heat reflective tape under the gas tank

I have a problem with mine building up pressure. I can hear air bubbles slowly comes out of my vent line after riding it. I already had one gas cap go back because of this on my trip to california and it was allowing gas to go out the vent line and fill up the steering stem.

Yeah to keep the tank from getting to hot. The tank is in a pretty bad place.

Hey all!!! You know, I had the same thing happen to me while riding on a fairly hot/warm day on the dunes. It was venting so hard, the fumes were just shooting out the vent tube and there was also some gas coming out as well. And it does sound like the gas is boiling in there. I would loosen my gas cap, then the boiling sound would cease. Hummm...

Mine built up so much pressure when I was in California that it messed up the one way valve in the cap and gas would pour right out.
