If i get a FMF powerbomb header can I use a HMF sport series slip on? I have a 2002 honda 400ex.

no, you should buy the powerbomb, then after realizing it doesn't fit, donate it to me so i can use it with my HMF slipon.. it surely won't work with yours..

is sound an issue? according to the people who run it, the powerbomb will help quiet down the hmf, on top of adding a little more power. oleboy87 has this combo, and he loves it. i've been trying to get my hands on a powerbomb for a while now, but i just haven't had any luck finding one used. i would love to go that route..

Ive heard that a header doesnt really do a whole lot unless you have a lot of mods? maybe like 1 hp. not worth the loot in my opinion

sound really isnt that big of an issue im sure it still sounds better than stock! i found a new powerbomb header on motosport.com for 229 with free shipping if that helps.
But anyway it does work then? the 2 are compatible with no problems or do u have to mod the muffler or the pipe?

yes, it will work without any issues, and it is a direct bolt on replacement. a lot of people say that fmf headers fit better than stock.

Ok thanks i think i am gonna save up and do that combo, but one more question, Will the FMF header pipe still work with the heat shield i have now?
Posted by: Pipeless416
nope, the fmf header will not have a heat shield on it, but lets face it, if you touch either with your leg, its gonna hurt..

Would a lexx slip on also work with the FMF powerbomb? and r the lexx any good thye are pretty cheap bu r they worth it? or is the HMF still a better bet?
Posted by: Pipeless416
any slip on will work with the powerbomb header. as far as the lexx goes, they are starting to gain popularity around here and a lot of people like the quality, power, and sound that they have. there are some very well written reviews on here if you go back a few pages.
