What motor to use. YZ426 or 450r

I cant make up my mind on what motor to use. Its ether a 01 YZ426 or a 04-05 TRX450R motor. I all ready have the YZ426 motor but it needs a new rod, Cylinder Sleve, and head machined. Or go out and buy a TRX450r Motor. Ether way the motor is going to get fully built for MX. Any input would be great.

You already have the YZ motor so go and use that.. no since in throwing a TRX motor in there.. The YZ motor is super strong and will hold its own with the TRX motor anyway and it would be much cheaper for you to repair what you already have then it would be to buy a whole other engine.

use the yz motor. theirs plenty of parts out there to fix it for less than buying a new one.

the trx motor IS NOT the same as a crf if you were going that way. the crf is night and day difference.

I know the CRF motor and trx are way different. the reason i was gonna go with the TRX is becuase i got a friend that has one for sale. But i guess i will go with the YZ. thanks guys
