My friends blaster melted the piston and we cant figure out why. He was just riding and it stalled out of nowhere and he couldnt get it started. The piston was moving freely but it wasnt getting any compression and was moving way to easily. We took the head off and the exhaust side of the piston was completely blew apart and the intake side was discolored from being soo hot. It has the oil block off kit and we mix it at 32:1. He also had a pretty bad exhaust leak where the pipe meets the head. I dont know if that would have caused it? Somebody also said it could be a bad crank seal. Does anybody know?!?!?

same exact thing happened to mine. scored up the cylinder pretty bad too. we mixed out gas 32:1 but we had just bought it when it happend and we think the guy who had it before acidently ran raw gas or to lean of a gas in it. we had all the symtoms yours does and what we did was we bought a new jug slipped it on and we haven't had a problem yet

Yeah we are getting it bored out. Hopefully we will have the jug back tomorrow.
