Brake Light alternative

I had a busted tail light. Seems those things don't make a very good bumper. Anyway, couldn't find one for less than 50, so I came up with an alternative. I bought an LED trailer light from Advance Auto. It is the tail light/brake light version. Holes are only 1/4 inch farther apart than our stock light, but the rubber grommets had enough slack in them that the bolts still fit. Lights up pretty well, might even be a tad brighter than stock. Only cost $23 too. Only has three wires, just like stock. Solid green is ground, brown is regular tail lights, green w/ stripe is stop.

Might not look as cool as stock, but for less than half price and ease of replacement, I think it'll do.

Hope this might help someone looking for an alternative, something easy to find you don't have to order, and cheaper.

That's the one. I think I'll get bored and take the Dremel to it and make it look more like this.

Here's another without the lights blinding the camera.
