i made my own reverse mod using the original reverse lever.
Now i can shift in and out of reverse with my foot.......if any one is interested in doing this mod them selfs ill explan how but youll need to weld a part or have it welded might cost 3 bucks ...lol

sorry if you save the pic you can blow it up full screen .
I was in a hurry when i did this and dintend take the time to smooth the welds and paint it ,but I bassicly took the reverse linkage off the quad then i turned it around backwards and brought the pull handle straight up then tack welded it in place.
then i removed it and finshed welding it..I used a vice and a hammer to make the bend it works great...

If any one has some reverse linkages id like to buy a couple and make them like this but prettier LOL and try to resell them ..I'm going to do the one on my 250x next and ill take some pics before i reinstall it.

i did something similar except i used an old goldwing shifter. the peg on the end of the shifter had to be cut off and rewelded to the other side and the shifter mounted upside down. much happier now that i can engage reverse with my foot.

reverse is nice, the nerfs will be nice wit the nets, im sure that bumper come sin handy but i cant stop laughing looking at it lol, omg it looks so huge on it. glad to see someone is making mods for a 300 cause no companies will =]

lol the bumper is rediculous but works great for smashing through briar patches, and running over smalltrees plus it makes for a nice pull handel when you'r stuck like chuck
I also want to net the nerfs I still need to find material to make my own nets
ill sell a set of nerfs like in pic w/o nets for $50 -$60
ive been giving them hell and they havent broke yet...
i made them a little smaller than the frame rails so in the event of a crash hopefully the nerfs would bend so the frame wont
(i cant plan the crash test ..juist wait till someone F's up lol )
i can also add +2"or +3" if your quad is wider than stock....
on the next to build is a 400ex to 300ex shock relocator it looks simple to build and is in demand...if some one that has purchased one of these will give me some measurements it will help, but i have a set of 400ex shocks in the mail so when they come in i wil be putting them on my 250x and building a relocator because i refuse to spend $100 + on somthing i can build for $5.00 worth of material

a pic of my fresh front end rebuild, and front brake install. I've got lots of work ahead of me , need to rebuild... when it quits smoking its time to add oil lol.. also i plan to use the leftover A arms to build a front end and convert a old 200s three wheeler into a four wheeler Rnow it is the machine of death all my freinds that have rode it are recovering from injuries

im not sure if i understood you right, but you said if it stops smoking you need to add oil? A four stroke shouldn't smoke in the first place, and you shouldn't have to add oil. Just change it once in a while depending on how much you ride.
