i just bought a 13.5 to 1 piston and im thinking about redoing my vaves so if i buy new valves do i have to have a valve job done or can i just put new vavles in

first i would have to ask if you can get the valves out and back in . your run of the mill valve spring compressor will not work, it takes a special tool that will allowed for the deeper than normal
recessed part of the head.
other than that ya you can put them in ,its not like some code in enforcement people are going to show up and hall you of to jail.
how ever if you were doing it for me i would insest that it be properly done...............its your quad do what you like.
