so im in the market for a 450 (used to have a 400ex) and i narrowed it down the the LTR and The KFX...i went to a dealership today and tried out the KFX..and damn..so tomarrow im going to go pick it up..i have one question...how are the stock shocks? o and its a 08 and is costing $5399 out the door..and the LTR i wanted is around 7 grand and is an 07...so i got a really good deal..thanks

The shocks are about as good as any of the main 450's-pretty adjustable, but on the stiff side. But for 5400 o.t.d. you'd be a fool, IMO to pass it up. I paid 7600 OTD for mine right when they first came out. I feel like a moron. Oh well. Good luck.

Stock shocks are fine once you adjust them for your weight. If anything I'd do a re-valve on them later down the road if you're not satisfied.

Get a new quadtech seat and you will love it . Don't get the seat and you will still love it but your *** wont .

The rear shock has high and low speed adjustment. They all have compression and rebound adjustment. Have fun on your new quad.

At that price, I dont think anybody would pass that up. I paid 7415otd The shocks are pretty easy to adjust and they need it.
Enjoy the quad.
