Does anyobne know how to change the chain and sprockets on a 400ex

Cut the chain off -- it doesn't really have a master link. Use a grinding wheel, or bolt cutters, or a hack saw. The sprockets are super simple too. 5 bolts or so on the rear, and i think just one on the front. 5 minute job....your girlfriend couldn't screw it up.

Or stop wasting your time and wasting your money by cutting them and loosen the chain and take the sprockets off. its not hard at all.

its a fairly simple process actually.

if you dont have a motion pro chain breaker, then get one and if the existing chain doesnt have a master link the "breaker" will come in handy. once you've gotten the chain apart(bike in neutral), use the new master link to connect the new chain to the old one. afterwards you'll use the old chain to pull the new one through. now install the new rear and front sprockets and torque everything down. once this is done you need to get the carrier to its "slackest" position and have the new chain looped around both sprockets (taking up all slack and taking note as to which link is to be broken to recieve the master link. install link(with clip openng facing to the rear of rotation) and adjust the chain to specs.
