whats the performance difference between them, like on the trail and in drags? For instince I went to a big action motor-sports play-day with a starting gate streight stretch and me and my buddy raced my 525irs (K&N, jetted) Vs. his dads 700r (Stock), and it really depended on who got the better start!!! I felt like the outlaw could pull harder 1st-3rd and then it was any bodys game there on out.

They are both very good quads and would have no problem Owning either. There even in power, and weight. The Raptor has more potential for mods and being a very good duner and drag racer and does very well on trails. The 525 is no slouch, but does give up 176cc, but is right there. The IRS can't be beat on trails, especially the ruff stuff. Plus, I would race the Outlaw XC over the Raptor. The fit and finish is better on the Raptor, but Polaris is getting better. Either one will would make you happy.

Trail- Outlaw IRS
Drags- The better rider will win every time
