id recomend getting a manual it will definatly help you
here is a very basic lay out to do them
remove plastic, and tank
remove the valve covers
set engine to TDC (top dead center) there should be play in your intake rockers at this point,
check clearances with feeler guage, they should be .004 on both intake and exhaust
adjust to spec if there off

Remove the caps on the valve cover, set it to top dead center on teh crank, (remove the cap by the shifter, should be a T) on the flywheel.
Fronts or Exhaust should be around .011 and the rears or Intake should be around .006.
There is a locknut on the adjuster, loosen that and adjust with a small screw driver and retighten.

K, a little of on the measure but you also may want it warmed up.

not trying to step on any toes, but the clearances are .004,
and you never want to adjust valves on a warm engine, your clearances will be off, cuse as you know, as metal gets hot it expands,
not trying to be a dick man, just dont want they guy to do it wrong
