well, i havent had it for 24 hours and im diggin in and making some changes

just the small stuff for now....but winter is here so who knows what she will end up lookin like by spring

well, here is the scheme i have envisioned....

white plastic w/ red duncan graphics
trans red frame over chrome( like in that pic)
trans red lower a arms.....chrome uppers
black or silvervein stem
red or black swing arm

the engine will have cast aluminum and trans red and some chrome

Barry Hawk used to run the yellow frame and red plastic setup too. You don't see that to often anymore. It looks ok, but Ballance's quad is the best.

the biggest reason i sold the first R was due to its lack of aftermarket parts. the cdale was awesome.....but i cant do nuttin to it

its race ready and done so i was stuck...lol

I thought the whole reason for getting rid of the 400ex is because you didn't want to spend time upgrading/moding etc.. I believe you even said you liked the Cannondale because there wasn't much needed to be done. Now you get rid of the Dale because there is nothing to do it it.. Man o man you need to make up your mind Pappy. LOL

Matter of fact i am thinking of changing the color of my 310R frame to a metallic white with a clear with prism over that this winter......

but this was when i redid my wifes 86R.........

the 400ex....i said i didnt wanna dive into the motor....heck i did about everything else to it. just because i have switched quads a few times means nothing as to wether they are good or bad. i dont develop a special bond with machinery

but, with this R i believe i just have settled on a plan and will do my best to stick with it
