Did the 330KIT and now it needs more gearing. I alread did 14 on the front and I need more. Don't want to spend a ton on two 22" tires since prices are NUTS right now.

I did a search using Google and found a few places that sell 35t sprockets. I need to ask though, what rear sprocket size do you have now?
Going 14/35 would give you a 2.50 ratio, which is pretty high.

14/38 now
With the mods done I don't even bother with 1st gear. I think there is plenty of opportunity for this to run well.
I get topped out and it feels like there should be another gear but there is no more. Perhaps 2nd gear take offs are a little more than just releasing the clutch. Makes 2nd more usable.

No sweat dude,
Every kind of riding requires different gearing, along with rider preference and tire size. I had 14/38 (2.71) on my stock 300 with 20" tires, and it was too high for my liking. When I get mine back together from adding basic mods, its getting 13/36 (2.76) which should be pretty good with the added torque from the mods.
I'm curious what others will add. What kind of riding do you do?

I feel your pain. With my 385,i have run 14/34 gearing and still have lots of torque for hill climbing.I do wonder if it possible to do a 6spd from a 350x and still keep my reverse..hmmm..

You should be able to get any size gear you need from: www.rebelgears.com
They have always had any size for every brand and model bike and ATV.

leave your 36 in the rear and move up to a 14 in the front. front sprockets are generally cheap.
isn't stock 13, though?

I think so, Im new to 300ex's. the guys that had it before me used it just in the woods... so they wanted more low end torque. you can't even use first gear. it's like havin granny gear in a old truck. haha
