I just put new brake pads on my KFX. I went for a ride last weekend for about 6 hours and they are already about half the size they were originally. Is this supposed to happen or did i put them on wrong?

deff not suppose to happen man. you did something wrong. maybe someone on here can help you with more details but i can deff tell you you did something wrong.

I think i know what i did wrong. When i installed the brake pads i didnt open up the resivore and just pushed the calipers back with a vice. So when i ride there is extra pressure on the pads. let me know if this what may have caused it.
