Does anyone know which way you turn the exhaust cam to do the cam mod?

1 tooth clockwise

What is this cam mod?

It is actually setting up the timing to the YZF 450 (dirt bike) specs. What you are doing is retarding the exhaust cam 1 tooth (clockwise)

search for cam mod, you will find a bunch of literature. I highly recommend that you do this mod, too.

Does this really make a big difference? And how does this make the engine perform, comparing to stock?

it is amazing. the power just never falls. it just keeps revving hard.

I felt that extra bit on the mid to top end, but I also did not loose any on the bottom. There is nothing to lose by doing this mod.

like they said, it feels like it never stops pulling...HARD. it will definitely make your eyes big and your butt pucker

will this make the bike run richer or more lean?

Typically, most dont have to rejet after completing the cam mod, but if it were to go one way, it would create a leaner condition. I would say bump your main up one size, just for safety.
