New Tires for MX

My daughter is currently racing in the TQRA MX series on her Pro-Fab and Hetrick Honda's. I am starting to see all the Honda guys in the east run larger tires in the back, as we are still running snow hogs. Besides the obvious (top end), is there any advantage to the larger tires?

Please be specific on type, size, brand, rim, etc.

thanks,

Kelly

They weigh about the same as the snowhogs only they have a bigger footprint which gives you better traction. They accually come stock on etons. They are Maxxis M940's. 18x9x8, and you should be able to run them on the same rims you have now. Hope this helps

He's rite. Those are the tires you want. We have been running them on our bikes for a few years now. I think we started a trend ! LOL

The E-ton part # is 610160.... I get 25% off at my local E-ton dealer I'm going to get a price on them today. And I was thinking about these wheels for them for a big tire set up..... I'm going to start with the small set up (I already have) and see what's up. But I thing I'll have the big set up in the trailer...
