I bought a 2001 Honda 300ex the other day, it runs perfect doesn't smoke or use any oil. All it needs is plastic and a seat. What do you guys think? I forgot to mention that i only payed 600 bucks for it. sweet deal i think.

Im wanting new plastic and a seat, and many other aftermarket parts.... EMAIL ME or PM me if you have some.. I will pay cash or trade you 250R parts... just lemme know what you think guys!

thanks bud.. It's actually my wifes bike. I parted out my 250r and bought her this with some of the money.. As you can tell, it needs some work.. i need a pipe,plastic,seat, and nerfs.

Its real nice,it don't seem to me like it needs that much work!!Get a pipe,seat cover & stuff and u will have a quad thats is a killer!!

I will keep my eyes out for u some parts.

Thanks alot! The reason it was so cheap is that it caught on fire and melted the plastic,seat and wiring harness. It was my uncle's 4 wheeler. He fixed the wiring harness. and sold it to me. I'm happy with it.

I've got my 250r swingarm and a-arms ready for it.. Im not sure if the swingarm will fit. But if it does. that would be sweet!! keep in touch Shane

Yes you can get the 250r swinger to fit with a bit of mods,i had one on my 250x a few yrs back.You'll have to weld 2 tabs for the shock linkage underneath.It looks good stretched out a bit

It's coming along ok...I'm laid off and about broke if that tells ya anything! lol

I put some renthal bars on it,jet kit,supertrap exhaust, k&n filter, OURY grips! haha

Hopefully, I'm ordering some nerfs and front and back bumpers.. still havent found any good deals on plastic or a seat yet... if anybody finds some... please pass the word along and let me get some... it looks rough like it is...

Will my 250r axle bearings fit in this 300ex??

We got the frame looking alot better, should be getting tusk nerfs, ac front bumper and a grab bar within the week.. it's ugly right now, if i can get some plastic i think she will be a looker! lol what do you guys think?

Progress is being made!.. just put on my new Tusk nerfs, AC front bumper and Dg grab bar.

Them Tusk nerf bars can be a pain in the butt!! I had a set on my 460ex and never did i have to fight them as much as this... heres a few updated pictures.... As she sits, we got 750 bucks in it..

for the bearing we talked about... I can get new ones for 20 shipped on ebay.. Id rather have brand new ones for 5 bucks more. ya know

I dono what plastic goes for but does $200 shipped sound reasonable? I understand on the bearings ill let them go for $10 shipped if you want them.

It's sad to say, but the 300EX actually looks better naked with no plastic.

The pics make me think of how good one would look with a monster baja tank and 250R looking front plastics.
