What is working the best you guys on the 50cc quads?
Last season we ran 3.75 Rollers, 1500 Shift Springs and a 1000 Torque spring and had great results.

a wise man ounce told me go with what you know! that sounds pretty close, those darn 50s are finiky.

That question is hard to answer without more info:
Clutch type (they do come with 2 different clutches)
Engine work done
Type of rider (zip zip or all the time full throttle)
Type of riding
Sprockets
Internal tranny gear (high speed or std)
Belt size?
air or water cooled?
We can get you in a general ball park, but there is a lot of info needed to get you as close as you probably want to be

i would like some help with springs and rollers also
have a 50cc stock limited ported cylinder stock pipe rides wide open metra kit adjustable clutch need more bottom end i think
have a 70 with stock cylider bumped compression to 170 koso pipe metra kit adjustable clutch and metra kit variator 788 belt
any help would help the 70 we finish 4th over all this weekend at evansville and i think would could have done better if i had the clutching better

My son was in the 70 class at Evansville this weekend too. That track is hard on the clutch parts,the hills etc.. are tough.

What are people doing that destroys clutch parts?
The only thing we have ever ruined is rollers, they tend to flat spot after extended use but I have never ruined and springs or belts at all even racing 1 hour long Ironman races and they have hills and so forth, I have the same springs for a whole season with zero issues, changed the belt a couple times just for good measure and the rollers every once in a while.
Our season consisted of 3 races per week every week for the nearly the entire summer, maybe 40+ races and Sundays were the Ironman ( 1 hour non stop racing ).
Not saying anything bad, just wondering why allot of people talk about clutching going bad.

Koso pipe (if new style) will not be as good overall as the MK pipe designed for that cylinder..We have run both...Koso will give you more top end (for TT racing better), but MX needs more grunt
The 788 belt is also wider so your front variator may be grabbing the belt sooner than you would like....
The Dr. Pulley Hit Clutch seems to be gaining in popularity, so you may want to try that with a stock 90cc belt (787 x 16) instead of the (788 x 17) that your currently using.
Can you describe your 50cc performance on bottom end and take off? Does it roll 10 ft and then hit the power?

thanks for the info gary the 50 does just that about rolls about 10ft then takes off i have 3.2 rollers in it with stock torsion spring and mk clutch adjustble blue stall springs
