I have a 2001 polaris 400 Sportsman True 4x4 . This has been a great atv for me.
I ride it all year long. But this year after I took it in for yearly maintenance I have had nohing but trouble with it.
The bike has alaways started by the battery.
Now I have to pull start it.
It will stay running as long as I'm riding it but the lights flicker and the high beam wont turn on at all.
I ran down all the wires and cant find any that have a short. I charged the battery.
and I have changed the lights out.
Yesterday I was riding it and the led screen started to go haywire turning on and off.
Can anyone help me im out im out of ideas.

maybe its cause you bought a polaris lol....but seriously I think that you may have blown a fuse or that you battery is just junk. I would check all your fuses first then work from there.

any idea where I can find the fuse box?
I've traced every wire and cant find any fuses.

there might be a sealed fuse box underneath the plastic. If there is something like that I would check it out.

if your battery keeps dieing test the regulator/rectifier w/ a meter and see if the diodes are bad.
