Nearly 700 racers show up for the 2nd round of the AMA Pro ATV MX Nationals. The parking areas are packed and good spots are definitely a premium. The weather has been nearly perfect for the qualifying rounds with partly cloudy skies.
28 pros and only 4 moving on from the last chance qualifier.
They had to run 4 divisions for the Pro am class.
Qualifying results will be posted later today.

Thanks for the update. Will there be coverage for todays events?
Also will the results for the rest of the classes be posted? Very interested in the rest of the classes. I know that the phone signal is not that great at the track and makes it hard to get information from anyone. What I have heard is that Florida is being represented very well.
Go SSQSA riders !!!!!!!

Final track preparations underway. Hot laps about to start.

lets get it on!!!!!
Posted by: Johnny & Monica
Wimmer first one out on the hot laps. He had the fastest practice time.

Is there going to be a live feed for the races today? Tried everything I can find from last year and nothing is working.
Posted by: Lostcause
I got a question. Are these site laps or hot laps?
Posted by: Lostcause
Reason i ask is in our series we give the Pro Am guys a site lap and the track owner at our last race told me that half of the guys would be DQed because they were jumping the jumps and not looking at the track.

WOW, what a seek and destroy mission by Wimmer and Yoshimura Suzuki, Wimmer mowed down both 2007 champions that run engines from 2 of the best in the business, very impressive results for Wimmer and Yoshimura!!
The bar has been raised!!
Posted by: wolfpack91
Sounds like Dunlop has some issues with their new quad mx tires. That's 2 races in a row Byrd has gotten a flat. He must not be running tire balls like in the past.
Great coverage too by the way!!!
Posted by: quadracer707
Lets Not for get DUNK how many people wrote him off????????????
PRIVATEER, working his ***** off and it shows.

Posted by: Johnny & Monica
Thanks for posting the overalls. That's what I had listed also. Wow that was a really exciting second moto. I can't believe how many racers are having so many quad related issues this year.
Posted by: copedaddy
everyone better look out for #20. Back on a RED bike and rolling!
Posted by: ammohog01
I hope Wienen gets better luck next time. I happy Suzuki won. Great job on the race coverage.

how about we all give it up for Randy Lehr #110 for getting 2nd in pro-am unlimited and 3rd in pro-am production

Creamer's bike was popping when ever he revved it past like 6k and it would barely move, chads bike was doign the same thing but worse. im guessing electrical problems.. Natalie's was getting towed off the track, im guessing it blew.
How about proam prod. heat 3 , clay homes popped his motor on the 2nd step up in the pro section, i almost landed on him!

That was in his contract last year and the year before to do that. Probably is the same way this year to.
