Just ordered my son a new 2008 atk 450mx (quad) for his race season.

Any 2008 ATK out there yet?

What I am wondering is he getting the latest and greatest 450mx or the one still pictured on the website?
Don't know if there shipping them yet, but weren't they supposed to have the new Fullbore plastic, Laeger LT arms, Fox Float Evols, Weapon MX exhaust, etc?
That would make me consider the new one over the moto (which is still one bad ***** quad!)

Obviously the '08 is not the one pictured there because it has the ohlins fronts instead of the evols and it appears that is not an HMF exhaust, although I could be wrong... For that price that front end should be a leager T-Pin! Odd that the width is only 48.5" and not the 50" limit, not a big difference but seems like the same mistake Suzuki made. If your gonna make a mx quad make it 50" like I believe the moto was. Interesting the automatic clutch option??

still haven't received it yet ,should arrive next week, will post pictures as soon as i get it.
They say it suppose to put out 50 hp can't wait to try it.

Chose the:
-Leager new lt A-ams
-Elka Elite front
-Ohlin in rear
-HMF exhaust
-rear beadlock

Tried an '07 atk 450 VR last week, verry nice power and smooth shifting.

I added Teixeira LT arms with Axis triple rates.

For the same reason people don't just by used yamahas or anything else that they could for a lot less.

Â_ My son really likes it. Handle great, great performance.Â_His first race is the comming weekend so will find out how it holds up agains the other quads.

Â_Â_ A pros rider in his team bought the same quad and he is very satisfied . Perfomance wise, he said the atk pulls just as hard as his yfz witch was hightly modified (52hp).Â_will try to send pics.
