i have a set of stock 450r shocks on my 400.
i saw someone with what looked to be yfz450 springs on his 450 shocks.
will these work fine on the 450r shocks, or would i need to do something to make them fit. (no revalve)
will the yfz springs make it sit lower? are they a type of dual rate spring?
another option for me is to get the works setup for $200 off ebay and get true tripple rate springs.
what would be a better buy. (yfz springs would be close to free)
Thanks

Just go with the works springs, if it says Yamaha on it its bound to give you problems. J/k I run the works springs with houser +2s and like them.

Even if you go with the Yami springs and they make it sit lower they will be ratling about when your in the air or the shocks are on full extension.

the yfx springs are shorter...so the preload collar wont turn down far enough to keep the spring from moving at full extension, right?

Even if that was the case you could put a spacer in there (assuming the springs are worth the effort).
