folks we have some amazing riding here in southeast KY...prime time trail riding in the heart of appalachia...all FREE...including free guide service.

starting with the world famous Black Mountain Off-Road Park in Harlan County. They offer 8,000 acres of mapped riding on their park, and offer an additional 58,000 acres of off-park riding.

We are their neighbors to the southwest in Bell County, in the shadow of the Cumberland Gap on the KY-TN-VA line. We are starting development on a 9,000 acre park that we are working on getting connected to the park in Harlan...and are also working right now on getting another 33,000 for off-park riding in Bell.

Once our two counties are connected we are expecting to have 90,000+ acres of some of the best riding anywhere...for FREE.

I ride in southern KY in the Monticello area. A group of us guys are planning a weekend to Harlan County before summer. We've never been over there and are looking forward to it.

you all are in for a real treat, and soon when bell, harlan, and leslie are connected, youll be amazed at how good it will be.

if you are in the area on may 31st we are having a big benefit ride in bell county for the children of a fallen officer with the harlan county ridge runners coming to help.

I'm wanting to visit Harlan Co. area soon myself, but can't seem to get anybody from the Lexington area to make the trip. How easy is it to join up with a group for a day trip?

We've decided on May 10th. Is there parking near the trail head and how secure is it? We'll have 2 trucks with gooseneck trailers.
