I did some looking this evening at the throttle body. I'm thinking there is some power to be had with it. Here are a few pics.

You could smooth the inlet and make it a tad larger. Also, notice in the other pic, the TB blade isn't even 90* open. That is definately killing air.

I have access to a dyno, so I'm going to do some ported on the TB and see if it is possible to make the blade open to 90*. Afterward, I'll redyno and see if it even helps.

When this is done on LS1's, you can gain around 10hp on some.

He's talking about LS1's...the Chevy small block you know? Not the DS motor.

Aye, I'm thinking he's looking for more like 1 hp. Which not sounding like much, certianly adds up.

I don't expect it to pick up 10hp..lol. My point was, it makes a difference on cars, it should also on an ATV.

it should definatly help a little bit, but once you do other mods thats when it will really shine in my opinion
