(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: looke83

This is the start to my kfx450 project, right now it has Flexx bars, powermadd hand guards, CV4 hoses, elka system 3 damper, pro armor dominator bumper, fat pag nerfbars, and kill switch. One industries graphics and galfer brake lines, velocity intake. PCIII.

The motor is gone to be ported and polished, then getting a JE piston and web cams.

By next week it will have quad tech hood, air scoop, seat cover, and shock covers. a dominator 2 axle. and full elka elite suspension.

I am still waiting on my hipers, lsr +2 arms, and swing arm, and a Dasa exhaust.

Im hoping that this will be a good working kfx : )

Posted by: mod440ex

very nice bike. what are you going to be racing it in?

Posted by: looke83

I am racing it in the atlantic motocross series, in canada. and maybe some Nationals. not sure yet.

Posted by: mod440ex

who is doing your motor work?

Posted by: looke83

I was going to send my head to dasa, but i didnt have the time, so im just getting a local shop to do it, called Pro Tech.

Posted by: 660LE

that local shop "pro tech" builds canada's premiere mx teams motors.
Anthony Turner of Protech does the work for BlackFoot Yamaha, or at least he has the passed 2 years

Posted by: looke83

oh, i didnt even know they were that big of a spot.. lol then hopefully my motor should work pretty good. they called me yestarday and said i could go and pick it up. cant wait to get it going.

im down to only 2 more things, my a arms and dasa exhaust.

Posted by: yfzrider45

lemme know how the dasa exhuast is, and how loud it is......i'm thinkin of gettn on

Posted by: 660LE

get that thing together yet or what?

Posted by: spanky101

the dasa pipes should be in shortly if you ordered from fuel atv...

Posted by: bustedknuckle

where did you get the rad hoses? ive been looking everywhere.

Posted by: 08mxkfx

there made by cv4 and i have the same ones. I got mine from motosport.com

Posted by: looke83

nope, still dont got it together

All of my stuff is coming right from the dealers factory, so my dasa exhaust is coming right from dasa. And it is a 13" or thats what i have ordered. but there end caps have been on backorder for a long time, so i just ordered a fmf 4.1 with a mega bomb header to get me by until the dasa pipe comes. the only other thing i need is my lsr a arms, and i got now sweet clue why they arent here, i told me dealer locate them on monday.

My cv4 hoses came right from there website http://www.cv4.net/4moto/

Ill post some newer pictures of what its looking like tomorrow.

Posted by: jeff55

for real , it better make amazing power for that much

Posted by: looke83

no , the porting was only like 400 ish , but i got them to dis assemble my motor, and put it together for me and some other little things, and then i just say it cost 1000 $ to get the whole job done..

Posted by: 03whitetruck

Let me know how those graphics hold up. I am running the same kind, but can not ride for a few more moths. Literally broke my neck in 2 spots last Sept. at a local MX race. Should be back riding by late summer.

Posted by: TheNewn

yeah, the whole motor package is 1K not the port and polish. From what i read that includes a piston and cams and labor.

Looks like a really nice quad, If i ever have a 450 i'd go with Dasa as well.

Let us know if you're happy with the result when you get it all together.

You better be for 26K

I hope you'll purchase a Leatt Brace before then.

Posted by: looke83

no , with just the labour to take my motor apart, port and polish it, and reassemble everything, and a couple there little things it was about 1000 $ without the piston and cams..

Posted by: TheNewn

Oh wow, then that seems like it was pretty high...

Posted by: looke83

.

Posted by: Drewltr450

Dahm thats insane awesome end product. I would kill for a 450 with that much into it. What made you choose the FMF how do you like it?
