Does anyone have any good or bad things to say about running a flywheel weight on their hybrid. I can see not needing one for a track bike in a motorcycle frame because it is so light. But are there benefits or downfalls to using one in the quad? anyone with experience and how much weight?

i run a +7 oz flywheel on my crf hybrid, depending on the pipe, cam, and piston u are running how much weight u might need. for example: if u are running a 13.5-1 piston and a dasa, sparks, or tc exhaust (hard hitting exhaust), u might want a heavy flywheel to tame the motor and for more traction. the main thing i noticed with the +7 flywheel was more traction. if you don't need any more traction or your motor is stock and very smoth u may not need a weighted flywheel.
