does anyone know how to soften up the raptor shock? is it through the rezzie or the threads on the top of the shock

Posted by: FoxHondaRider

both, back off those preload rings a lot and set the compression really low.

i dont really feel like taking the rear shock off because its a pain in the *** but do u know how to adjust the rezzie?

Posted by: FoxHondaRider

a screw driver

Posted by: BR16250

where? there is nowhere for a screwdriver to be used on the rezzie. and which way should i turn to make it softer

Posted by: FoxHondaRider

on the shock there should be 2 screw. 1 near or on the rezzie which is compression and 1 on the shock which is rebound.

do i turn the screw left or right? to make it softer

Posted by: Honda10

try both and then jump on it, that is what I did. but the adjusting the preload would probably do the most.

The compression screw is on the front of the rezzie were the hose goes in and the rebound is on the bottom of the shock. Turn them clockwise for more and counter for less.

i think that u had it all the way counterclockwise so i think it'll be fine

Yes I think you are correct. I adjusted the compression all the way for Austin because he is only 85lbs. Work with the rebound screw it should help you dial it in for your ridding style.
