I am 14 and I'm looking at getting a quad. I'm 5'2" and around 95 pounds. Anything smaller than 250 feels too small. Do you think a Raptor 250 would be a good fit? I've never owned a quad but have owned a Honda XR80R dirt-bike with a manual clutch. Do you think a Raptor would be a good fit for trails( no mud and a minimum of rocks ) and be a good first quad?

They are very small for a 250.At your size you will love it.I am 5'11" and it feels almost like a mini quad to me but my 9 yr old son can ride it pretty comfortably.

I got a chance to sit on a grey/red model at my local dealer and they do feel great. It will take a lot of hard work and saved money for me to get one though.

well its good to hear that you have to work for it, you probably hate it now, but you'll appreciate it more once you get it

Very true.It will be worth the wait.It is great to see some of you younger guys working hard to buy your toys.It makes them mean ALOT more to you.I found that out at a very early age myself.

I learned today that my grandparents will let me drive their car when I got my permit. Now I don't have to worry about saving up for a car and my Raptor 250 hopes are revived.
