i was wondering what cc dome should i run to get my compression to around 170-172. thats safe on 93 correct?<BR><BR>also what gap plug is recommended?<BR><BR>thank you i should have my cylinder back from the shop in the next day or so. i bumped it up to a 67.25MM.

generally, a 20cc dome and under will require race gas. So I would recomend a 21cc dome.

is your cool head the o-ringed type or requires a gasket?

requires a gasket. how can i tell what dome is in it right now? would running a 22cc be cheaper insurance for a longer lasting topend?

the size should be stamped on the backside of the dome when ya pop it out of the head.

stock chamber is between 22 and 23 cc's and by going to a thin gasket can get ya to around 180 lbs of compression. with that said and taking into consideration that your at a 5th over bore. i'd say around 22cc's. ofcourse, you can play around with varying thickness head gaskets and get the compression to where you want it.
