Need some opinions on my quad, I am going to be getting +2 arms and a +4 axle here shortly.
Engine is stock, piped and jetted with UNI filter. +3 swinger (duner), +1 stem, trailtech bars. Yada Yada
Just looking for some opinions and suggestions. Let me know what you all think I should change or what you like. From colors to adjustments, I wanna hear em.

im just curious why you went with the +3 swinger.
i too am primarily a duner, and i've never even considered going with a longer swing arm.

Have you ever rode a +3 swinger in the sand? I absolutely love it!!!
Anybody have any suggestions or comments?

how big of a difference did the elka's make?
I have the exact same quad and it seems very stiff stock.

Next to the swinger, the elkas are the best thing that I have done to my quad.....they ride really well!!!

i've got an extended swing arm on my raptor, and im pretty indifferent on it... but no, i havent ridden with a longer swinger on my YFZ... why do you find it advantagous/superior?

i see you started putting black on some engine covers. maybe get some magnetizer oil plugs in black. i got mine with my f2 racing powerback kit. they look trick and protect your engine.

also maybe trim the front fenders. i like the dana creech cut. its not that hard. maybe loose the headlights but if your into dunes you might want them. other than that it looks sick
oh by the way nice decals

Lights are staying, I ride the dunes at night and they are required. Some HIDS in the stock housings would look insanely bad arse, though!!!
Im sorry, what are cv4's, I prolly know, just slipped by me. I did plan on PCing the clutch cover black, but I will have to play with photoshop, chrome blue would prolly look really good.
Thanks for the ideas fellers, keep them coming!!!

extended a-arms and axle would be cool, but then you might have to get your elkas re-valved for the a-arms, but so far the bike is awesome, and super clean!

Thanks bro. I will have to get a stiffer main spring.....which I can install myself in a few minutes. Ive only had the shocks a couple months, shoulda waited till I bought the arms.
Thanks for the comments, keep em coming.

cv4's are the hoses going to the radiator.....they just have trick colors and handle heat and cold better i guess....to be honest i bought them for looks
Posted by: ohsobad_chevy
Oh yeah, I seen them in Quad magazine. That would look good. I will check into them.
Keep the comments and suggestions coming, I wanna hear em.

A burried arse end. I free ride a lot, too. I have sand tires for the dunes.

No, not yet. I have played with the tape, but just can't bring myself to do it. I am waiting on my axle and arms, before I make the decision. I most likely will cut them.
Thanks for the good words, RideRaceLive.

The axle got here yesterday evening and the arms are on the way.......can't wait!!!!

Unless you feel like you need more power, i'd start focusing on comforts!
Steering stabilizer?
Flex bars?
Hydraulic clutch?

I definately use all the available power, but I am more pleased with comforts.
A steering stabilizer is on the list for sure. The flexx bars are not my cup of tea, I rode my buddies LTR with them and I honestly did not like them. My clutch is really easy to pull as it is, but a hydro clutch would be awesome, I have never pulled a hydro clutch, but I would imagine it would be awesome.
As of right now, I am going to start shedding weight by taking off useless crap.
Keep the suggestions coming.
I'll post some new pics when my arms and axle are installed. 2 week turnaround on the arms.

I just got done putting my axle on......I like it a lot!!!

Now if I could just get the arms in the mail, she would be golden.

Sorry man, I can't do another. Kind of a one time thing, you know? I do recommend getting a +3 swinger, even if you ride the dunes once a year.....it is so awesome!!! Rides really well and levels out really well in the air.
