looking to buy a starter for a '05 YFZ450, anyone know a good place, for cheap?

i've bought a couple good starter's for other quads off ebay for like 30 bucks max...a lot of the yfz ones will be a little more than that but just keep an eye out and im sure you could get one for about that...majority of them will be in the 40-60 dollar range though.

if your wanting to buy a brand new OEM one from a dealer or somethin expect to pay a couple hundred for the whole assy.

i drove down to the local Yamaha dealer to see the prices on a stock battery but after the sales rep told the outrageous price I never gone back. I'm sure an oem starter will cost a couple hundred bucks cause the local dealer is charging 190 bucks for a oem battery.

haha yea it's ridiculous...i called a yamaha dealer about a rectifier/resistor for my yfz....$109.99

i bought a used one off ebay for TWENTY FIVE dollars..haha works perfect.
