What is the best suspension upgrade for Typhoon 125?
My son mostly rides MX, he is pretty aggressive & keeps bottoming out bot front & rear. He is 9yrs old & weighs 70 lb.
I am looking for bolt-on upgrades (no cut & weld)
Any sugestions beyond just shocks would be appreciated.

I put Elkas on my sons last year and we really like them. Elka has designed shocks to mount straight up.

get the SSR style knock front lower a arms. much better shock mount setup. and the arms are pretty darn cheap.

the arms look good. i am running a longer front shock so they are a tight fit with mounting point on the under side of the aarm.

how do you like the pipe. how does it sound. i have been running the stock pitster pro big bore pipes and they sound awsome. is the fmf pipe worth the money.

i bought three different ones before i got this one and this is the only one worth the money! none of the others increase in i.d like the fmf. this thing sounds like a little 450. only had to weld a threaded grommet on the frame and open the hole a little.

the graphics are from a rcm pit bike. they come in black or blue. xr50 graphics fit also but they cost so much. these rcm ones are 12.50 shipped here is the ebay #330262082394

going to run it this weekend against some cobra's, drr's, apex's. last year zac was third in both state series on a well modded lt80 last year. but he's going to have to hang on to this new ride its a beast! [IMG]http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g311/tdub785/zac.jpg[/IMG]

Sweet! I think you'll be suprised by that motor. My sons 150 runs strong against the Apex's and DRR's but he is not as aggressive as the other kids. He slows down way before the corners as where the other kids stay on the gas the entire way. Good luck and keep us posted on the results.
