I'm going to cut my plastics on my 1996 300ex 4 wheeler. I have 2 ways sort of planned out, trying to get an idea of how it will look. If you have a picture of your 4 wheeler with cut plastics post them please. I'm not too sure if i want to but it straight down and leave the flap or cut it down and in. see attached pics for more of a visual description. You can also just post your opinion of which way you like best. Thanks.

i think the one where it curves to the left will look better

cut the 1 to the right because the 1 to the left runs off of that. Cut the whole right line and see how it looks. If its good then keep it if you think it would look better witht he left cut than simple cut that rest off.

k thanks! I figured that it would look goofy with the big flap hangin off. Thanks for the help! Helped alot when i flipped it yesterday. It landed on a stump and woulda trashed the fender so i couldnt cut it. Doin a wheelie tho lol.

My back are cut as well as the front. You should do the one that curves in toward the bike, but leave a bit more material. Make the line at the part where the plastic stops flaring up and starts coming across, and cut there.

Thanks everyone! I think the fenders look great! Yours too. MINE is actually the one in the article i posted. Did you cut the stock rear fenders? Let me know what you think of the fenders.

Yeah, if i had that one i wouldn't have done it any differently. I can't find scoops like that for mine anywhere. I keep seein people with the ones that fit right up under the fender but the only ones made for a 300 stick wayy out and look bad...

Yeah, that's awesome. I like how it looks from the front with it. I like that better than the shiney metal ones. It also looks better because it's not just a straight edge since it has the curve to it. This isnt a big deal but it would look a lil better if the plastic met up with the shraud instead of havin the gap. Looks good without it though... Nice work.
