is there a 450 motorthat will fit in a 250r frame?

because the four stroke counter shaft is higher, (from the bottom of the motor to the counter shaft) than the 2 stroke. u need to align the counter shaft with the pivot bolt for it to work properly. u have two choices, cut the bottom of the frame rails and lower the motor, (this causes the frame and motor to hit the ground when jumping) or cut the pivot mounting brackets out and move them up. (this will weaken the frame) with the first u can modify the shock but u loose wheel travel.

just something to think about.

i have several customers that have, and we have made them work, but i perfure a custom frame for the motor u intend to run. prp, lone star, and walsh will still build hybrid frames.
