Jody Estes told me to try this, and it works. For you guys running XC with a stock axle, if you install Hipers on the rear, it brings the width in too much. If you replace the rear hubs with Honda 450R hubs, it will widen it back out. I picked up some practically new 450R hubs on ebay for $29 shipped. Cheap fix compared to buying a new axle.

Mine has red hubs all around it..... Do you think someone has already changed them ???

i understand.but i thought the hypers were same as stock.am i missing something?

Hipers are 4-5 offset, stock wheels are 3-6
width is now around 46.5"
