ok, so i got this 300ex for my girlfriend. bought it from a private owner and he didn't have the owner's manual for it. i'm wanting to change the oil in it but am having way to hard of a time even finding the drain plug, where the heck is this thing at??? deff. not like my 400ex.

so can ya'll help me out here?

where exactly is the drain plug?
what is the capacity?
and does it take 10W-40 like my 400ex does?

Drain plug is on the bottom of the Transmission case. Right in the middle.

Just measure using the dipstick (unscrewed). Nothing tricky like the 400ex. It should be about 1-3/4 quarts (w/o an aftermarket oil cooler).

300ex and 400ex use the same grade of oil
