weight your quad and lets find out how they compair. i used go cart scales at the local track, and also weight them with a set of hanging scales using a front end loader and lifting the whole quad.
my laeger weights 355 with 2 gallons of fuel, antifreeze, and oil.
ltr450 suzuki with 2 gallons of fuel, antifreeze, oil, with stock shocks, and nerf bars = 423 lbs
ltr 450 suzuki with gas, oil, antifreeze, fox shocks, lone star antifade, lone star brake rotor hub, sprocket guard and brake rotor gaurd removed = 399 lbs
trx450r honda with 2 gallons of fuel, antifreeze, oil, long travel front and rear, race ready = 395 lbs
yfz450 yamaha with 2 gallons of fuel, antifreeze, oil, long travel f&r, race ready = 385 lbs

Norris,
What is some of your secrets?
I have a few 450`s that could lose a few lbs.

on the suzukis the brake rotor hub and sprocket anti fade hub was a big savings by going billet, wb ti exhaust, and fox shocks ended up shaving 24 lbs. no ti bolts.
my laeger has wb carbon ti exhaust, fox evols, and the chassie is lighter than mild steel frames. no ti bolts!
ti bolts, ti shock springs, and exhaust systems. now these are about as far as i go for mx. tt is a whole differant world and another day!
