I have an '01 300ex, and the plastic is starting to get pretty banged up. I would like to go all black, i was just wondering if there are any suggestions and/or ball park prices any one could give me.

a new set of maier fenders would run you about $440 bucks roughly but thats for the racing front end, r fenders, and tank cover... and a set of ufo fenders will run you about $517 bucks, this does not include the hood, or tank cover... ufos are the same as your stock fenders plus if im not mistaken maier gives you a 1 year warrenty against them breaking.. you break them send them back and they will replace them.... just my 02.

Fullbore Fenders are $250 Front, $250 Rear.

Plastics are not cheap.

Yeah, i noticed they are not cheap. Thanks for the info.

If your plastics are just scuffed up, buy a bottle of Mop&Glo and rub wipe it onto the plastics w/ a sponge. Works great for shining them back up.

Yea its not that important really, or neccessary, but its something i want to do to the bike in the near future, maybe next winters project. Thanks for the tip though!

I agree with Y2daT420. Get some 400ex fenders as they are way cheaper. Below is a pic of my 300ex with 400ex fenders. You have to modify where the seat mounts to the frame, use some "L" brackets to mount the front fenders, but other than that they fit good. If you want close up pics of how I mounted the fenders, pm me.
