ok we recently put a full white bros aluminum pro exhaust on my bros 05 450r with a stage 1 hotcam. it seems like i'm riding in a constant bog , like it doesn't pop or anything like that , if u stand and listen to him ride it it sounds like it runs good but it just seems like it doesnt when u ride it. we are running a 165 main jet and 1 clip down on the needle and airfuel screw out 2 1/2 turns abnd the airbox lid removed. anybody have any ideas why it seems this way? is the jetting to lean?

A 165MJ is way too lean for an 05 R with a stock carb.
Thats a common size used in an 06+ bike with an FCR carb.
What are the temps and elevation by u right now?
In 60+ degree weather and sea level a 05 should use around a 185MJ.
And larger if its colder.

down here temp changes everyday , by alot , it snowed yesterdya for liek 20 minutes and today it was 70-75 degrees outside lol , so go with around 60 degrees lol so a 185 jet sounds better?
