i just ordered +.5 houser a arms and 3+2 hipers. am i going to be to wide for xc/harescrambles? i knew i should have probobly went with 4+1's but i didnt. xc guys please chime in and let me know asap so i can see if i catch my order before its shipped out.

I think you will be fine with the 3/2. Truth is that a factory Honda wheel is 5.5" wide anyhow so neither a 3/2 or 4/1 put the tire in exactly the same position.

with 3+2 wheel you gain like .5 each side so 1 inch total.

well what is regulation for hs and xc? you will be at 48" wide in the front.

never mind guys, sent the 3+2's back for the 4+1's

to me 48" is really pushing it for XC. 46" or 47" wide is where you want to be IMO.

You will gain +1 inch overall from the a-arms. You won't gain anything from using 3+2 as this is basically the equivalent of factory offset. Factory is actually a 5.5" wheel so you don't actually gain a full +1 inch when switching to +.5 a-arms at the same time you switch to 3+2 wheels.

With +.5" a-arms and 4/1 wheels, you will be more narrow than stock.
