does anyone kno how to take the back rotor off without taking the whole locknut off the axel? is it made to come off without taking the locknut off?

just take the rim off u can turn it and it should come off, what i did, it leaves the thingy with the 4 bolt mounts im pretty sure its called the hub =]

Talking about removing the brake disk?
It has 3 nuts holding it onto the hub brake hub. Remove the wheel, remove those 3 nuts and slide it off.
Cant remember, but you may need to remove the wheel hub on that side also, but that's pretty simple.
I think it will slide past the locknut. Can't remember though. It's been a long time.
If not, the locknut is pretty easy to remove if you have the proper wrenches and a snapring tool.

yea, you can remove the rear rotor with out, removing the lock nut assembly, it wil take a while buy youll get it off, and i do belive it will slide past the wheel hub with ease
